How it works

IVE is a browser extension that connects to your haptic devices and syncs funscripts with video players on any website. Instead of downloading videos and scripts, IVE syncs with the site's own player, letting you enjoy interactive scripts directly. Next to that IVE also offers some other features to enhance your experience.

Getting started

This is a step by step guide to get you started with IVE. Follow these instructions to install the extension, connect your device and start enjoying synchronized haptic feedback with your videos.

1. Install

Download the extension for your preferred browser from the download section.

For Chrome based browsers you need to directly install it from the crx file. To do this follow these steps:

Go to chrome://extensions or open the extensions menu in your browser and click on manage extensions.
Enable developer mode at the top right and reload the extensions page.
Drag and drop the crx file to install the extension.

2. Connecting your device

2.1. Connect The Handy

Get the connection key from the Handy app after setting up your device. Open IVE by clicking on the IVE extension. On the Handy page enter the key and click connect.

Only handy version FW4 is supported!

After a successful connection it should show connected with some handy device settings for stroke range and timing offset.

2.2. Connect Intiface

Download and install Intiface on your computer. Open Intiface and connect your device. Make sure the Intiface server is running. Open the IVE popup in your browser and go to the Intiface page. Fill in the connection details and click connect.

After a successful connection your device should show up in the device list. With some device settings if there are any.

3. Playing scripts

IVE plays scripts directly sites, but the scripts need to come from somewhere. IVE can load scripts from IVDB, FapTap, FunScriptHub and EroScripts. More details on how they work below.

3.1. Eroscripts

Eroscripts is a forum and community for sharing and discussing scripts. To play scripts from Eroscripts find and open a free scripts detail page.

If IVE is installed you can see an IVE block and select scripts from the list and play them with IVE. It then opens the video page, attaches the script and starts playing it.

You can also right click links on the site to select them in the IVE block. And you can also drag and drop link on the selects in the block.

3.2. IVDB

IVDB is a large database of scripts for made by and for the handy. To play scripts from IVDB simply open a video page and click the IVE icon in the top right.

Note: IVDB only works with The Handy!

3.3. FapTap

FapTap is a site for browsing and playing videos with scripts. To play scripts from FapTap simply browse the videos and click the IVE icon of a video card. Or go to the detail and click the IVE icon below the video.

3.4. FunScriptHub

FunScriptHub is a site for browsing scripts. Altough not that active anymore. Most scripts are also on Eroscripts. To play scripts, find a video and you will see the same IVE block as on Eroscripts. Select a script and it will open the video page, attach the script and start playing it.

Side panel

The side panel is shown on all sites that you have a script for. On the side panel you can resync the script to your device if the sync was lost or didn't start.

If you like to reverse the script you can also do it here.

The side panel can also always be enabled on sites you list in the settings.

Custom video player

IVE comes with its own video player. Not all sites offer the best experience making it not enjoyable to watch online.

The player supports fullscreen, theater mode, resizing, moving and more.

To activate the player open the IVE side panel on the side and click the Float button. Or you can also right click the IVE extension and select "Float player".

The video player can also perfectly be used without playing scripts or connecting your haptic device.

Heatmap

The heatmap visualizes the script interactions with a heatmap overlay. This gives you a better understanding of how the script is performing and where the most intense interactions are happening.

You can activate the heatmap by enabling it in the settings of the IVE popup or by right-clicking the IVE extension and selecting "Enable heatmap".

Which browsers does IVE support?

Chrome, Edge, Brave (all Chromium browsers), Firefox desktop, and Firefox for Android.

My Handy won't connect or sync. What's wrong?

Ensure you're using firmware 4.x. Older firmware versions aren't supported. Check your connection key in the Handy app.

What devices work with IVE?

The Handy (FW4 only) connects directly. All other devices (Lovense, Kiiroo, Satisfyer, etc.) work through Intiface Central.

Why isn't my script syncing properly?

Try refreshing the page, or use the resync button in the side panel.

Can I use multiple devices at once?

Yes, through Intiface Central you can control multiple connected devices simultaneously.

Can I use my own script files?

Currently no, but local script support is planned for future updates.

Is my data safe with IVE?

Yes, IVE respects your privacy. Everything of IVE is completely local. NOTHING is collected or logged by IVE.
IVE does make use of The Handy's API and Intiface, so please refer to their privacy policy.
